General overview Frequently asked questions |
||||
| 1 What is the difference between a big dream and a vision? | ||||
|
A big dream is something you have or had often in your mind
and you would like to realise on planet earth. This can be a rough dream or maybe a bit more detailed dream. A vision, especially a developed vision is a more structured big dream and clearer to understand for others. Ideally a vision can be communicated in a socalled pitch, a term used in film industry, a short description of the vision in one or two sentences. Then others can follow you much faster and you do not need a lot of time to decribe what you really mean. The way you communicate a vision with words will give others a message about you. The clearer and more structured you speak, the better. I met a lot of people with wonderful big dreams, but the way they spoke about their dreams was very unsharp, often difficult to follow and finally you do not know if they are really able to realise that vision. |

| 2 What is the best time for visions? | ||||
|
The best time for a vision is clearly the time when that vision
is needed in a society or a nation. In the past we see various visions had been developed after WW2, after a catastrophe worldwide. After the war some people had for instance a vision of the 'United States of Europe' in different ways, or the vision of the 'Human rights' had been developed after experiences of WW2. There will be another wave of visions in the Corona years. |

| 3 What do you need for a vision? | ||||
| For a vision you need firstly a big dream.
Then it needs a time of thinking about this big dream. Then it needs a decision if you should realise this big dream or not.
Perhaps most big dreams remain daydreams because people
had fear to realise that big dream. Next steps are transforming that big dream into a clear and structured vision. Then starts the time of realising the vision in a step by step process. Furthermore you will need some equipment depending on the sort of vision you have. This can be tech or a laptop, also a website. One of the most important things you need are values, as integrity, sharing, truth. Values in a vision make the difference to visions you find in Science Fiction movies. |

| 4 Which sort of mindset you should have for a vision? | ||||
|
For a vision you should not primarily be focused to make a career. On planet earth there are too many people focused on that. You should be focused on enhancing lifes, be focused on enhancing scenarios people live in. This world needs new visions. |

| 5 Where and how would you communicate a vision firstly? | ||||
|
Communication of a vision can be done in various ways. You can communicate the vision firstly to friends to get a feedback.
Furthermore you can do this during visits, or in charities and companies. You can publish a vision also as a printout, an article, as a leaflet, an art poster
or as a website you develop in a step by step process, maybe with a cheap provider at the beginning. It is very important to think twice where to present your vision, some institutions will not be able to deal with your vision because they are not paid for this. Do not loose time and wait, always improve all and work parallel, offer all two or three institutions. | ||||
| 6 What is about copyright of my vision? | ||||
| This question is more connected to the question who starts at first with that special vision. A website or a publication is then proof of the start of your vision if there should be later a legal case about copyright. This question is a bit too much thinking in business terms. | ||||
| 7 How long does it take to realise a vision? | ||||
| Visions take normally some years. It also can go faster when you realise parts of the vision very soon. In each case a vision will motivate you, will give you energy. When it is a vision about improving lives it will be stronger than circumstances. | ||||
| 8 Where do I get funding of a vision? | ||||
|
The common believe without money I can do nothing is false in this area. This is a real visions killer. In terms of visions this sentence is not true.
First steps of a vision could be volunteering in the area of your vision as a first step with all your talents. After this volunteering you see more if this area is right, or this area is not my thing. Furthermore you see where are your real talents. The search for sources for funding should be dealt with in a later stage of the vision. |
||||
| 9 What is the best place to realise a vision? | ||||
| There are no best places to realise a vision. Some places are easier to realise a vision when you live in a big city with all the shops and facilities you need. Or maybe places where your health insurance costs are lower, also your rents are lower. It is more the question where is the scenario that need this vision at first. | ||||
| 10 What are the biggest mistakes people do when developing a vision? | ||||
|
The biggest mistake is maybe to stop too early with the whole vision due to obstacles. Or to start a vision with too high monthly costs
so there is nothing over to invest into the vision if it is a vision where you need some equipment for instance. As already said before, for the first years of a vision it is best practice is to have a small job that covers your monthly expenses and to rent maybe a room instead of a full flat. So you have money over for travels, visits, equipment and others. |
||||
| 11 What kind of person you should ideally be to realise a vision? | ||||
|
This question is dangerous. Fact is worldwide, that people grow with the challenges they meet. A small lady can
change a whole atmosphere in a big charity with her commitment and her believe. It is good to be a person without fear, a person with a value based mindset and a person who is able to make clear decisions. Finally a person who has believe and is committed to that vision. |
